Product care
Product care
I make my products to stand the test of time, however, you can give your glove some extra TLC by:
- Wiping any dirt from the surface of the leather with a damp cloth.
- Brushing the suede side with a suede brush.
- Feeding the leather with Original Sedgwick Leathercare to protect and replenish the natural oils in the hide. Please note that this product will slightly darken the colour of the leather.

More information
Our Barkston falconry gloves are made right here in our workshop in England, from the finest deerskin we could find.
The Barkston is a very versatile glove, designed to be comfortable when wearing and to fit the hand well. Made for falconers flying smaller hawks or falcons, or for those birds who aren't footy.
Crafted from the finest materials
We searched worldwide for the best deerskin - tough enough to protect the user, but supple enough to allow free movement on the hand. It’s the balance falconry gloves require, and it’s the leather we’ve trusted for years.
Real World Use
Falconry gloves have to do more than look the part — they need to perform and they need to last. With nearly three decades of flying birds of prey, I understand the demands this sport puts on equipment. I design my gloves to be comfortable in the hand, and to look good while doing their job.
Made in England
Everything we sell here is made start to finish in our Grantham workshop. If we didn’t make it, it isn’t here. Making things properly, in England, is what we stand for.
