Product care
Product care
I make my products to stand the test of time. This belt is crafted from a durable, natural leather which will only look better with age.
However, you can give your belt some extra TLC by:
- Wiping any dirt from the surface of the leather with a damp cloth.
- Buffing out small scruffs or scratches from wear using a cotton cloth. This brings the natural oils to the surface of the leather.
- Feeding the leather with Original Sedgwick Leathercare to protect and replenish the natural oils in the hide. Please note that this product will slightly darken the colour of the leather.

Each leather belt is handmade to order in my workshop, using traditional techniques. It takes one week to craft a belt, from the point of order to shipping.

More information
A solid belt made to your measurements for a proper fit. Pick your leather colour and buckle, and we’ll make it for you.
Cut from J. & E. Sedgwick bridle leather, it’s finished with hand-bevelled and burnished edges, a sturdy keeper stamped with my trademark logo. Seven holes spaced an inch apart for reliable adjustment.
It’s built tough enough for the outdoors, but sharp enough to wear through the week.
Every belt is cut and stitched in my Lincolnshire workshop using traditional methods that won’t let you down.
How to measure for your bespoke belt
- Whilst wearing your favoured trousers or jeans, put on the belt you are looking to replace.
- Fasten your belt so that it fits comfortably and make a note of the hole that you’ve put the buckle tongue through.
- Remove your belt and lay it flat so that you can take a measurement.
- Measure from the hole identified in step two, to the point where the leather is folded back through the buckle. This measurement is the size that you should order. It will most likely be larger than your usual trouser size but don’t let that throw you, I assure you this is your perfect belt measurement.
If you need any assistance or guidance whilst measuring for your belt, please do not hesitate to contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
Crafted from the finest materials
Bridle leather is the obvious choice for this belt. I source mine from J & E Sedgwick, the best in the business. The tannery is based in Walsall, West Midlands, and is world-famous for its hand finished, superior quality leather.
The belt buckles are produced by Abbey England, which is family-owned and which dates back to 1832. Abbey England supplies saddlery materials to the royal family and is the only traditional foundry left in Britain.
Made to Last
As the name suggests, bridle leather was traditionally used to craft horse bridles because of its heavy-duty and hard-wearing qualities. A horse rider’s life depends on the quality of their tack so if Sedgwick’s is good enough for them, it’s good enough for our products.
Made in England
Each belt is made from start to finish in my workshop in Grantham, England. I design my patterns using an age-old method, drawn by hand with pencil and pattern card, and cut with a scalpel.
