A pair of stitched jesses, available in either mews type or flying type. Made in black leather with brown stitching to match our standard lined anklets.

Dimensions

Medium: Suitable for PP22 Eyelets. These jesses will fit our anklets for Falcons, Male Goshawks and small Owls etc 

Large: Suitable for PP22 or PP24 Eyelets. These jesses will fit our anklets for Harris hawks, Female Goshawks, Red-tails and Large falcons.

Extra Large: Suitable for PP24 Eyelets. These jesses will fit our anklets for Harris hawks, Female Goshawks, Red-tails etc but are a little bit longer and wider than the Large jesses so a good option if you like longer jesses 

Eagle size: Suitable for PP26 Eyelets. These jesses will fit our anklets for Eagles and European Eagle Owls

Product care

I make my products to stand the test of time. These jesses are made from a very tough oiled leather.

However, you can give your jesses some extra TLC by:

  • Wiping any dirt from the surface of the leather with a damp cloth.
  • Feeding the leather with Original Sedgwick Leathercare to protect and replenish the natural oils in the hide. Please note that this product will slightly darken the colour of the leather.

Our stitched jesses are made from hand selected, heavy-duty oiled hides and stitched with heavy duty thread for strength and dependability. Available in both mews type and flying type, they’re designed to work seamlessly with our anklets.

Size Guide:

  • Medium -for PP22 eyelets. Fits anklets for falcons, male goshawks, and small owls.
  • Large -for PP22 or PP24 eyelets. Fits Harris hawks, female goshawks, red-tails, and large falcons.
  • XL- for PP24 eyelets. Similar fit to Large, but longer and wider — ideal if you prefer longer jesses.
  • Eagle - for PP26 eyelets. Fits anklets for eagles and European eagle owls.

We use only the strongest hides we can find, stitched with heavy duty thread for reliability in the field. Built to last, and matched in finish to our standard lined anklets.
